Printemps de la musique

In May, the Printemps de la musique presents concerts in the heart of Old Québec, a historic district recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Chapels, monasteries, churches and cathedrals are immersed in early, classical and contemporary music as well as jazz. The repertoires performed are in tune with the venues, allowing audiences to discover these heritage sites in a festive atmosphere. The daytime programming gives concert-goers the chance to take in multiple free concerts at various sites. In the evening, major concerts are presented at a friendly price. The festival offers visitors a distinct and accessible experience in a prestigious setting.
